The UN Secretary-General, António Guterres has expressed extreme concern at the escalation of violence asking for “an inclusive national dialogue to resolve this crisis and create the foundation for peace and stability throughout the country.” Both sides of the conflict blame each other for breaking the truce.
Ethiopia’s Ambassador to South Africa spoke to SABC News pointing to the TPLF as the aggressors and that the African Union is the pertinent authority to help resolve the conflict.
