The families of victims of a knife and gun rampage at a daycare facility this past Thursday in Thailand gathered Saturday in the northeastern part of the country for the funerals of their loved ones.

The adults were shot and killed while the man is said to have used a knife to kill most of the children. The gunman reportedly also killed his wife and child before turning the weapon on himself.

Ahead of the ceremony attended by monks, hundreds paid their respects to the children, offering candles, toys and prayers to those who were killed.
